their lives to\u00a0<strong>helping<\/strong> Houston children. Our job is to ensure they have the means to accomplish their\u00a0<strong>goals.<\/strong><\/p><p>The Children&#8217;s Fund is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to helping early-stage charities fulfill their mission to provide critical services to disadvantaged children across the greater Houston area. The Children&#8217;s Fund builds on Houston&#8217;s rich tradition of philanthropy by educating and encouraging members and supports to give in a way that significantly improves the quality of life for disadvantaged children.<\/p><p>Children&#8217;s Fund is a 100% volunteer organization made up of about 80 member couples dedicated to funding early-stage charities supporting Houston&#8217;s children. Members commit to four years of fundraising and preparing auction items for our annual gala. It is our only event, so every dollar raised is critical in our efforts to support as many charities as we can. When you donate, 100% of each dollar is converted into a saved life, a cured body, a full tummy, a brighter future, and a healed heart.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-84a8b73 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"84a8b73\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Our Donation's Impact<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0afe398 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0afe398\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"text-gray-700 mb-4\">The annual Children&#8217;s Fund Gala was held on April 12, 2025 at the Post Oak Hotel. We generally receive around 25-30 charity applications a year. We granted 15 organizations gifts in 2024. Over 790 attendees of members and guests raised over $2.1 million with a NET of over $1.3 million!
