Industry Application Notes
Oil & Gas
Sealing for oil & gas service has to survive aggressive sour-gas environments, rapid pressure cycling, and temperature ranges from sub-zero pipelines to high-temp downhole tools. AFLAS, FKM (Viton), HNBR, and FFKM compounds qualify for explosive decompression resistance and H₂S exposure — with API 6A and NORSOK material compliance available on request.
Automotive
Automotive o-rings have to manage fuel, brake fluid, transmission fluid, coolant, and increasingly EV battery thermal management — all under tight PPAP and IATF 16949 supplier qualification standards. Our PPAP-compliant o-rings ship with full documentation in Nitrile, Viton, AFLAS, and Silicone compounds matched to the specific underhood environment.
Medical & Pharmaceutical
Medical sealing requires biocompatible materials that survive sterilization without leaching extractables into drug or fluid pathways. Our medical-grade o-rings are USP Class VI, ISO 10993, and FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 compliant — available in platinum-cured silicone, EPDM, and FFKM compounds suitable for autoclave, gamma, and ethylene oxide sterilization.
Food & Beverage
O-rings and gaskets in food and beverage processing must hold up to repeated CIP/SIP cleaning cycles, hot fill operations, and contact with fats, sugars, and acids — without contaminating the product stream. We offer FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, 3-A Sanitary, and NSF/ANSI 51 compliant compounds, plus metal-detectable options for HACCP-controlled environments.
Agriculture
Agricultural equipment demands seals that resist UV exposure, weather cycling, abrasive soil contamination, and a wide range of fuels, lubricants, and fertilizer chemicals. Nitrile, HNBR (HSN) o-rings, and EPDM compounds cover hydraulic implements, sprayer systems, irrigation equipment, and engine applications.
Water Filtration
Drinking water systems require seals certified to NSF/ANSI 61 for leachable contaminants, plus resistance to chlorine, chloramine, and ozone disinfectants. Manufacturing

Electronics
Semiconductor and electronics manufacturing needs ultra-low-particle, low-extractable seals that survive plasma etch, CVD, and aggressive process chemistries. FFKM compounds (Kalrez, Chemraz, Perfrez) and EMI-shielded o-rings handle vacuum chamber, wafer handling, and RF enclosure applications.
Hose
Hose assemblies rely on o-rings at every connection point — and a single under-spec seal can take down a whole hydraulic line. Boss, face, and flange o-rings in Nitrile, Viton, and HNBR compounds are matched to the hose’s pressure and fluid service.
Pump
Pump seals span static gasketing on housing covers to dynamic seals on rotating shafts — each with different wear, leakage, and chemical resistance requirements. Valve
Valve sealing has to balance leak-tight performance against repeated actuation cycles, with materials matched to the fluid being controlled.
