Employee COVID-19 Antibody Testing

Monday, May 11, 2020 – As American businesses start “returning to normal,” Global O-Ring and Seal has taken the initiative to have willing employees’ blood drawn and tested for COVID-19 antibodies. Covered in a story by KPRC 2 Houston, Global O-Ring and Seal invited Principle Health Systems onsite to conduct their FDA-approved serology testing for employees and their family members to determine if anyone had previous exposure resulting in immunity to COVID-19. Employees should have their results back within the next 48-72 hours.

As an Essential Business, Global O-Ring and Seal has protocols in place to keep the business running in a manner that is safe for workers and will continue requiring employees to maintain social distancing and the wearing of masks when 6 feet of distance is not possible. Common work surfaces are sanitized frequently throughout the day with cleaning equipment handily available throughout the building.
